You are right, at least in my opinion, that I'd likely never pay that much for this type of game resource. I've never heard of the Brady hardcover guides. When I've used the apps, I haven't encountered many times where the maps were wrong or incomplete, although there have been instances where I needed to cross reference to the Gearbox screenshots as it was difficult to see exactly where to look, just because of the map presentation.

I've found that both Android apps work for me as when I'm playing in full screen mode on my desktop, I don't need to alt-tab out of the game to see locations or to mark off those challenges that I've found. My memory is pretty short when the time comes to start the challenges again and I can't remember just where that last symbol is. Thank you for helping to create a great resource - I've used them many times already and still do. I didn't know that you had a part to play in the creation of the Gearbox maps. That would have been fun to do.

The original Brady hardcover guides for +/- US$25 and up for Win/MAC/Linux are of course excellent but no one's willing to pay that sort of money for a game that costs half the price. So far as the for-pay $$ Android maps on GooglePlay meh they're incomplete and haven't been updated since the game was first ported to Android - I'd give them a 65 / 70%.

I like the wiki link you've provided given that sometimes all that I need is a quick reminder. If you need, you can cross-reference the maps to the screenshots provided in the excellent guide put together by Nox, mentioned by Ceberus Shepard above. The best free site I know of that lists what I believe you're looking for is here (scroll down to Torgue dlc).
